Jane Howard was born and raised in Chattanooga and received her B.A. from the University of Chattanooga and her Doctor of Pharmacy from Mercer University Southern School of Pharmacy.

Jane’s interests include study of the history of the Chattanooga area, particularly the Cherokee Removal and the War between the States.  Jane lives on a farm near Catoosa Springs, the site of a resort that served as a hospital during the Battle of Chickamauga and as encampment site for both Confederate and Union armies.

Jane became interested in paranormal research due to her experiences living on her farm.   As a scientist, she was personally skeptical, however, as a result of the numerous experiences she has witnessed over the last 10 years at her home and during our investigations, she is convinced that spirits are here among us.

I am medically retired from a career in cruelty prevention regarding equines. I have always been a “horse” person, but am no longer able to pursue that passion. I like to think of myself as open-minded regarding the paranormal and have had a few interesting personal experiences. I love the outdoors, hiking, animals, and all things nature.  I like to draw, struggle to paint (I’m notoriously not any good) and do adult coloring (child at heart). I love to read.

I am not religious but believe in God and the oneness of all things. I love volunteering at our local Aquarium, and spending time with my three year old granddaughter. I am the proud mother of three sons aged 40, 35 and 26.  My significant other is my dog “Lil” Man.

I met Samantha in 2014 and instantly felt a connection.  Upon finding out about Mystique Paranormal, I expressed interest and Samantha kindly invited me as a guest investigator to Octagon Hall. I respect the evidence based ideology behind her work and have now become part of her team in MPRS.

While I am skeptically curious about the paranormal, reviewing evidence from cases has opened a whole realm of belief in the possibility of paranormal activity and communication. I’m new to the world of paranormal investigation, but love it and plan to be involved for a long time.
